Data Format & Supply
Data ordered online is supplied by email as an attachment and it is not downloadable from this website. Unless otherwise specified, data is formatted as a CSV (comma-separated values/variables) file, where each record appears on a separate line and each field entry surrounded by quote marks. These files will open automatically in Microsoft Excel or can easily be used as a data source in word processing applications or imported into a database. Large files may be compressed for emailing using WinZip.
Sample records that are downloadable from this website are provided to illustrate both the range of data within the data sets and the format of the data. The sample records are not intended to show the current records that will actually be supplied.

Conditions of Use
The use of Laing & Buisson data is also subject to a licence agreement that will be sent on receipt of an online order. Data is supplied on a 12 month lease from the date of the licence agreement and cannot be used after that date.
